One Monday Mary Alice Morgenstern was polishing silver. She came across a very old looking lantern and began rubbing it to get off some of the grime. After a few seconds "POOF"! a handsome Genie materialized and said he was there to grant her three vacation wishes.

Wow, thought Mary Alice, this is great. "I want a place on the Outer Banks that is on the oceanside; has a community pool and that my kids will like".

"No problemo" said the Genie ... I have just the place. And because business has been a little slow I am going to upgrade you to the deluxe wish package. That means you get one more vacation wish."

"Ok, the place has to have a no smoking policy too" said Mary Alice.

"You will be staying in OBX Decompress on the top floor. It has three bedrooms and three full baths. There are two king beds and one queen bed plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. And here is a super duper bonus ... all the sheets and towels are furnished and the beds will be made before you check in. There are TVs and DVDS in each bedrooms and the living room and you have wireless Internet access too.

This is the Croatan Surf Club in Kill Devil Hills and there is an Oceanfront Pool and Spa, a Spray Ground and Kiddie Pool, indoor heated pool and spa plus an arcade room and a fitness room. You did not request oceanviews and this particular flat (everything is on one level) does not have oceanviews. The kitchen has stainless, top of the line appliances. You check in on Sunday."

Mary Alice could not believe it ... wait until she told her husband and kids. "Thanks, Genie. This is just wonderful."
